Product Details

Areas of Use: It is applied in textile products, imitation leather manufacturing and on various materials.

  • It can be in the sizes of 50 x 70 – 70 x 100, or as coil.

  • It has a matt appearance. It can be cut in various sizes based on the need.

  • It can be printed only by using plastisol dye.

  • It can be shaped hot or cold after pressing.

  • The weight of the paper is 160 grams. The product can be prepared according to the desired number and sizes.

PRESSING PROPERTIES SCREEN PRINTED PLASTISOL TRANSFER PROPERTIES

  • Plastisol dyes are materials with a PVC texture that involve oil. During drying, they get rid of some of that oil and have a plasticlike state.
  • Plastisol paints are free of azo, formaldehyde, phthalates and heavy metals.
  • Screen printing is a process where pictures, images, writings etc. are created with some operations on a surface that is perforated, then they get printed on various surfaces and copied by the stripping of the paint.   
  • There is a color limitation for screen printed transfers.
  • SPOT colors are used.
  • Enables the exact same color printing for TP, TP and C pantones.
  • Enables the printing of patterns with very thin lines.
  • Enables the printing of materials like glit, fluorescence and pearl.
  • It has the ability to be pressed with a degree of 130 to 170 depending on the material.
  • It can be washed at 30 degrees (it has lower washing and friction endurance when compared to waterbased printings).

SOME POINTS TO CONSIDER DURING APPLICATION

  • During application, it should be made sure that the printed side of the paper is facing the fabric and the correct side of the fabric is being printed.
  • It should be made sure that the press is on the right temperature. Cold temperatures prevent the adhesion of transfer to the fabric. High temperatures damage the painting on the paper.
  • According to the press manual, the right range of temperature should be determined.
  • Pressure should be arranged depending on the correct adherence of transfer paper to the fabric.
  • Seconds should be determined according to the convenience of both the fabric and the transfer.
  • The manual should be taken into consideration while peeling the paper off the fabric surface.

 

During the application of transfer printing;

  • The fabric should be observed in the cases of hauloff, etiolating or color changing.
  •  The product that has been transferred onto fabric should be examined in terms of its adhesion, flexibility and press quality; then,

the process can continue.

 

During the washing test;

  • Washing should be done 36 hours after the application of transfer printing onto the fabric.
  • The product with the printing should be washed inside out.
  • It should be tested at 40 degrees for machine washing.
  • There should be a gap of 12 hours minimum for two or more washings.

 

Transfer Paper;

  • Should be kept at room temperature below 25 Cº.
  • Should not be kept in humid environments.
  • Should not be exposed to sunlight (UV)
  • The shelf life of Offset Transfer paper is 5 years when the proper preservation conditions are available.
  • The minimization of problems related to the transfer paper can be achieved through the attention to application requirements.

 

NOTE: Screen Printing paper can only be printed by using plastisol dye. Its surface can be cream, white or blue.
